VICE - LADY PINK: THE GRAFFITI QUEEN WHO NEVER LEFT THE STREETS

Lady Pink has long been hailed as a pioneer—an artist who broke barriers and claimed space in a world where women were rarely seen, let alone heard. As one of the first and only women in the male-dominated New York graffiti scene of the late 70s and early 80s, her rise was nothing short of legendary.

Now, in her latest solo exhibition, Lady Pink reaffirms her place as both icon and innovator. The show explores her unique trajectory: from teenage subway bomber to globally recognized painter, while never losing the raw energy that made her name.

In a new interview with VICE, Lady Pink reflects on her journey, her legacy, and what it means to remain rooted in community. “I'm not just some chick who got lucky,” she says. “I'm the real deal.” And that’s exactly what her art delivers—a vivid, unfiltered view into the life of a woman who carved her name into New York’s cultural DNA, brick by brick.

This new body of work reflects her ever-evolving style, but also her loyalty to graffiti’s essence: rebellion, storytelling, and truth. Whether she’s referencing personal memories, historic events, or graffiti’s underground codes, each piece is deeply layered with meaning.

Ahead of her major solo show at our gallery this July, we’re thrilled to offer a selection of original works by Lady Pink to our collectors. These pieces carry the same spirit that defined an era—and continue to inspire new generations of artists.
