SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping

All artworks and editions are carefully packed using materials appropriate to the work, which may include acid-free tissue, protective wrapping, reinforced tubes, custom boxes or specialist art packaging.

Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 2 to 3 working days, unless otherwise stated.

For UK deliveries, we use tracked and signed services from Royal Mail, DHL or other appropriate couriers depending on the size, value and nature of the artwork.

International shipping is available for many works. Delivery methods, costs and estimated transit times will vary depending on the destination and artwork.

Tracking information will be provided wherever available.

Original Artworks and Specialist Delivery

Some artworks may be located at an artist’s studio, another exhibition venue, storage facility or outside the UK. In these circumstances, delivery arrangements and timings may differ from our standard shipping process.

Larger, higher-value or fragile artworks may require specialist art transport rather than standard courier delivery.

Where specialist delivery is required, our team will contact you to confirm the available options and any additional costs before dispatch.

Rolled or Stretched Works

Where appropriate, certain canvas works may be delivered either stretched and ready to hang or rolled for transport.

Available options and associated shipping costs will depend on the individual artwork and destination and will be confirmed with you before dispatch.

Returns and Cancellations

We want every collector to be entirely comfortable with their purchase and encourage clients to contact us immediately if there is any issue with an artwork.

For purchases made in person at the gallery, change-of-mind returns are not automatically accepted. Any request to return or exchange an artwork will be considered individually and at D’Stassi Art’s discretion, without affecting a customer’s statutory rights where an artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described.

For eligible consumer purchases concluded online or at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply under UK consumer law.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, the artwork must be kept in substantially the same condition in which it was received and should only be handled to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and condition.

An artwork must not be installed for an exhibition, publicly displayed, loaned, altered, reframed, stretched or unstretched, mounted, restored, transported to another location for use, or otherwise handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it.

Where handling or use beyond reasonable inspection has diminished the value of an artwork, D’Stassi Art reserves the right to make an appropriate deduction from any refund to the extent permitted by law.

Any return must be agreed with D’Stassi Art in advance. The artwork must be returned using suitable professional packaging and an appropriately insured transport service. Unless the artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described, the customer will normally be responsible for the cost and risk of returning it, where permitted by law.

Commissioned, personalised or bespoke artworks may be excluded from statutory cancellation rights where the relevant legal exemption applies.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Works

If an artwork arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dstassiart.com.

Please include your order details and clear photographs of the artwork and packaging where relevant.

We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, collection or refund depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights. UK consumer law provides separate rights where goods are faulty or not as described.

International Orders

Customers receiving artworks outside the UK may be responsible for local import duties, taxes, customs charges and clearance fees.

These charges are not normally included in the purchase price or shipping charge unless expressly stated otherwise.

International customers should check applicable import requirements before purchasing.
