A look back at Trevor Andrew's UK debut show 'BANG BANG'

September saw the continuation of  Trevor Andrew’s UK debut exhibition ‘BANG BANG’ at D’Stassi Art. After an incredible launch and dinner last month, the show has proved wildly popular and has been extended for a further month. Adam Handler

Adam Handler has been featured in a wonderful international group exhibition at 42artspace in Beijing. The exhibition brings together 16 works by 9 artists that bring the audience into the dreams of the artists. His work is also currently on display at the Caelis Galeria M50 space in Shanghai in the inaugural exhibition ‘Musing by the Riverbank ‘alongside 14 other artists.


This month Adam will be traveling to Seoul for a solo exhibition ‘
Girl and the Ghost’ at Gallery JJ. The exhibition will reveal two new series of works by the artist; “Battleground series” and “Monochromatic Color Band series”

 

David King Reuben

 

The London-based artist has created an impressive Balloon Dog sculpture that was on display in the heart of the Burlington Arcade from the 7-10 September, ahead of a charity auction, taking place on Tuesday 19 September for Julia’s House that will also feature works by local and international artists such as Robert Mach and Glen Brooks.

“My balloon dog ‘Writing on the Wall’, 2023 is a work comprising of dreams, mythology, and streams of consciousness in a maze-like form,” says David King Reuben. “I wanted to create something that you can spend hours looking at, whenever you take the time to appreciate it you find something new.”

 

Sidney Teodoruk

 

Sidney Teodorouk has released a new limited edition print titled ‘And Still She Fly’s!’ which are now available to purchase from Sidney’s website for $75AUD


 

Peter Opheim

 

Peter Oheim has appeared in several exhibitions over the past month including canvas works at KIAF Seoul and in the exhibition “Sweet Dreams” at Bradbury Art Museum. He has also been shown in a solo exhibition at Sens Gallery in Hong Kong. Marole Gallery showed original works on paper at the Art Paper Fair in New York earlier in the month.

Kickflip by Trevor Andrew

 

Kickflip is an original work on canvas by Trevor Andrew and is currently on show at our latest exhibition ‘BANG BANG’. The work is unique amongst the collection as it strays from Andrew’s usual pastel palette, instead using a metallic gold background.
