D'STASSI ART LAUNCHES NEW GALLERY SPACE

D'STASSI ART LAUNCHES NEW GALLERY SPACE

D’Stassi Art are thrilled to announce a new store-front gallery in the heart of Shoreditch. The expansion comes three years after opening our first gallery and will see D’Stassi take over the corner of Hoxton and Drysdale Street. The location centres the gallery in a hotbed of creativity - surrounded by artists' studios and amongst  London’s best street art. The expansion sees D’Stassi grow to 4000 square ft between our galleries, office space and art storage facilities.

The new space will focus on exhibiting artworks from our full roster of artists and will see a regular curation of new and exciting artworks on display. The new gallery space will also house a cafe, offering the best in artisanal coffee and refreshments. It is a space designed to bring together art lovers with our gallery staff to connect them with our favourite artists and culture.

D’Stassi will inaugurate the new gallery in the Winter of 2023 with the continued exhibition of Trevor Andrew artworks and as well as a brand new print. This will be alongside the launch of a freshly designed line of D’Stassi Art merch and ephemera. The new space will program a wide selection of events designed to bring the London art community together including but not limited to print launches and collectors evenings.

Since the brand's inception in 2017, D'Stassi Art has established a unique platform for the world's most inspiring emerging talent. In the traditionally exclusive art world, D'Stassi Art looks to discover, encourage and help introduce clients to works of art based purely on how passionate we are about them. The gallery has helped to introduce a variety of the art world's clientele to important contemporary artists through immersive and inclusive events.

Founded by friends and fellow art enthusiasts, Michael Howes and Edward Sanders, D’Stassi Art is inspired by the ethos of the radical inclusivity of the 1980s graffiti and street art movements and aims to infuse greater passion, approachability, and experimentation into the traditional gallery format.
